Daily “Getting in Touch with your Inner Bitch” Calendar Meditation #10 – #12

July 17, 2014:  "When you speak of something, name something, laugh at something, you show your control over it." – Regina Barreca  "This is why your Inner Bitch says 'Thanks!' when someone recognizes her."

In this scenario, anonymity becomes a desireable state.  If nobody's trying to control you, being independent doesn't get labeled as rebellious or as a problem.  You maintain your freedom and your own voice.

July 18, 2014:  "No one can maintain Toxic Niceness for and entire lifetime.  Eventually it's going to end in the nastiest of ways:  either you'll melt into a pool of sugar or you'll explode in a torrent of invectives.

With all the stress in my sister's life, her rose-colored glasses have had to come off.  Life isn't aways nice and people aren't aways civilized.  She has been using the f-bomb in conversation to me and I have to wonder if she uses it with others.  At least, I am back in her good graces for being supportive and allowing her to vent.

July 19 & 20, 2014:  "Men don't realize that if we're sleeping with them on the first date, we're probably not interested in seing them again either." – Chelsea Handler "Your Inner Bitch knows it's funny because it's true."

Watching guys I dated casually worry about getting involved was always amusing.  I think the funniest was the guy who replied with "I hadn't defined our relationship as dating" when I told him I expected to spend some actual time with whomever I dated.
