Getting in Touch with Your Inner Bitch:  “Bitch, please!  Whenever anyone complains that you’re saying ‘I don’t think so’ too much, it’s probably because you’re not doing what that person wants you to do.  Which is their problem, not yours.”

Saying “Yes” to everyone becomes overwhelming.  You’re a single individual and they’re a multitude.  When you recognize this, saying “No” becomes easier.  From their perspective however, they’re usually only asking you for one thing.  You need to shift their perspective (if you feel like explaining – never make excuses – own your “No”) by asking them to explain why they can’t do it themselves.  Point out that you have a similar load of things to accomplish … and hope that works.  Personally, I’m getting way better at saying “No” without explaining anything.
