Who Really Knows You?

 "You can tell people where you're from and who you were, which is who you are.  But no one really knows you unless they were there."

This is both the blessing and the curse of any relationship over time.  Relationships are destroyed when one of the individuals either wants to reinvent themselves or fails to measure up to previous standards or expections.  We all want to be known, but the mirror can be too accurate.  We don't all want to know ourselves.
