DemocracyNow! Celebrates 20 Years

Juan Gonzalez & Amy Goodman @ Steve J. Sherman

DemocracyNow! celebrates 20 years with a special celebration at the Riverside Church in New York.  You can watch the special edition on the website.

If I want news, this is where I go for “the War and Peace Report.”  They cover the events and topics neglected and censored by corporate media and have a global perspective.  The guests and features are wide-ranging and thought-provoking.  When the third-party candidates and party candidates such as Bernie Sanders were blocked from the televised debates, they hosted debates with those candidates the next day.  They give me hope with such headlines as: Republican Elector Says He Will Not Vote for Donald Trump on Dec. 19

If you want to know what is really happening in the United States and the World, this is where you need to go and what you need to know.

On a personal note:  I’ve seen Amy Goodman speak live three times.  She inspires me to be a better person EVERY time I hear her.
